QMC's Circle of Fun: A Park Inside a Park

Night shot of Quezon Memorial Circle
Quezon Memorial Circle
During weekends, restaurants and other fast food chains located in the malls are usually full-packed.  After attending the mass, families usually go straight to the mall to dine.  In instances when we don't have the patience to wait, we usually go to the Quezon Memorial Circle (QMC) to have dinner in one of the restaurants there, usually in Max's.  One time though, we decided to have our dinner in Bacolod's Chicken Inasal, also located inside QMC.

There, we ordered of course the inasal (inasal combo meal - with dessert & iced tea), crispy crablets and KBL (kadyos-baboy-langka, an Ilonggo dish).  I've tried Ilonggo Grill's KBL and I like it more than Bacolod's. Plus I'm quite disappointed with their inasal, it's a bit dry, somewhat overcooked.  I've tried chicken inasal several times in Bacolod Chicken House-Intramuros way back when I was still working there and their chicken inasal is juicier and more flavorful, so I'm expecting the same taste and quality here.  But my friend enjoyed it so maybe it was just me. ;)

After dinner, we decided to take a short stroll inside the park.  Even at night, a lot of people come here for  walking or jogging, others are biking and playing badminton, the usual sight in QMC.  While strolling, we noticed that a lot of stalls selling various items including women's accessories, clothes, kitchen utenzils, etc. are lined up in one section of the park.  We also noticed a signage informing the park-goers of the opening of Farmer's Market where one can buy fresh fruits and vegetables, organic produce that is, as seen on the signage.  As we go along the said area, we also noticed a well-lighted section ahead so we check it out.  In there we found the newest attraction in QMC, the Circle of Fun.

Circle of Fun
Circle of Fun is a kids theme park, a park inside a park. :)  It has lots of rides and other attractions available for kids to enjoy.  The entrance fee to this Park (Circle of Fun) is very minimal, PhP30 per person (children below 3 feet are free) while the cost of the rides ranges from a minimum of PhP30 to a maximum of PhP50 per ride or attraction.  Circle of Fun is open from 10AM to 10PM, daily from Wednesday to Sunday.  Here are some photos of the attractions/rides available at Circle of Fun:

Kiddie Ferris Wheel...
Carousel...
Star Wars...
Water Ball...
Bump Cars...
Magic Swing...
various attractions...
and others, plus a lot more :)
There are lots of other rides/attractions there but I wasn't able to take photographs of all as it's near closing time when we check out this theme park.  Come visit QMC and check out Circle of Fun, there are lots of activities there which you and your family can enjoy.  Like Luneta in Manila, QMC is very accessible, it's right at the heart of Quezon City, and its free (QMC entrance, I mean).

The food looks good!

  17. Hi Mary Elaine! It's been more than 2 years since I went to the Circle of Fun (though I've been to the Circle several times after) so I've no idea if the rides are still available and if they are, how much are the cost of the rides now. I'm sorry I can't give you estimates. Thanks for visiting my site, anyway. :)
